Politically conservative women seem to be the favorite target amongst internet crazies these days. Look, I understand, most of those who get harassed know what they are getting into when they start their Facebook/Twitter or whatever, but since when do men people (don't deserve the first term) feel like they have the right to not just disagree with, not just pick on, but severely threaten and berate these girls on social media? If they started ripping on me, whatever,
mano a mano. But this? Come on... control yourselves and learn how to disagree like an adult.
You can search the news from the last several years or even months it seems and come up with examples and more examples of this type of harassment. I dunno, call the cops? Some of the threats are specific enough that I imagine they could be considered legitimate. Maybe if Holly Fisher tweeted a few articles of these d-bags getting arrested or something it would dampen some of the venom. Probably not, but worth a shot imo. What do you think these women should do?
By the way, I like this picture that she posted as a response to people threatening to come and rape her. Gotta love that 12ga wrapped in a Kalashnikov design... excellent choice.
